Experience all departments
Typically, you will be rotated throughout the year to experience all our departments. This helps you develop your understanding of our products, services, suppliers and customers
College
You will periodically attend college (Hereford Group Training Association) where you will develop new skills working with fellow apprentices involved in the programme.
A member of the college team will be visiting you at HFT to monitor your progress.
Residential away time
Two nights away in South Wales with your fellow apprentices. You will pit your skills and experience as a team player to overcome a series challenges and activities.
EPA (end-point assessment)
Your EPA will take the form of:
- Your apprentice work file will be marked
- You will deliver a presentation to a small committee from the college
Graduation & Employment offer
When you have successfully completed your apprenticeship, you are invited to the Presentation Evening held at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford. All apprentices attend the evening to celebrate their achievement and receive their certificates.
It is commonplace that we will offer you a permanent position within HFT to build on the past year of knowledge and skill you have developed.
