What is live-storage racking?
Live storage racking, also known as gravity flow racking, uses inclined roller beds to move pallets from a loading side to a picking side using gravity.
This system is ideal for high-density storage and is commonly used for fast-paced environments and for products that require a first-in-first-out (FIFO) stock rotation, such as perishables.
The gravity-powered movement automatically brings the next pallet into the picking position, eliminating the need for forklifts to enter the rack lanes.
